Acceptance Speech by Arch. Benjamin Onyedikachi Egejuru Winner, Oforola Mbam Ise Central Youth Election, 20th December 2024

Distinguished leaders, members of the Oforola Development Union (ODU), the Electoral Committee, my esteemed fellow youths, and all residents of Oforola,

I stand before you today with a heart full of gratitude and joy, humbled by the trust you have bestowed upon me in the just-concluded Oforola Mbam Ise Central Youth Election. This victory is not only a personal achievement but a collective triumph for all of us who are passionate about the progress and unity of our community. I extend my sincere thanks to the Oforola Development Union (ODU) for their constant support and guidance throughout the election process.

I must especially express my heartfelt appreciation to the Electoral Committee for conducting a fair, transparent, and well-organized election. Your dedication and commitment to ensuring a peaceful and democratic process have been invaluable, and it is a testament to the integrity of our community. Without your hard work and attention to detail, this election would not have been possible. Thank you for upholding the principles of justice and fairness, which have been fundamental in bringing us to this point.

As I embark on this new journey, I do so with the deep responsibility of serving you all. My vision for our community is one of empowerment, opportunity, and sustainable growth. I am committed to championing the needs of the youth, advocating for better education, creating employment opportunities, and fostering an environment where all can thrive. Working with the Oforola Development Union and all stakeholders, I believe we can bring about lasting change that will benefit not only the youth but the entire Oforola Mbam Ise Central community.

Finally, I wish to reiterate my commitment to transparency, accountability, and progress. I will lead with integrity and humility, always putting the needs of our people first. I am excited about the work ahead, and I am confident that, together, we will achieve great things for our community. Once again, thank you to the Oforola Development Union, the Electoral Committee, and all who have supported me. Let’s continue to work together to build a brighter future for Oforola Mbam Ise Central.
