New Secretariat to Boost Party's Infrastructure Ahead of 2027 General Elections
President Bola Tinubu has announced plans to construct a new national secretariat for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja. The announcement was made during the APC National Executive Committee meeting.
According to President Tinubu, the new secretariat will be built to strengthen the party's infrastructure. A committee has been set up to identify a suitable location and oversee the project's development.
The current APC secretariat is no longer adequate to meet the party's growing needs. The proposed new secretariat is expected to serve as a symbol of the party's evolution and consolidation ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party's focus on unity and mobilisation was also highlighted during the meeting. The new secretariat project is seen as part of a broader strategy to reposition the APC.
