A rising political figure in Owerri Zone, Dr Chima Amadi has called on Imo State youths to champion dramatic change in political leadership for meaningful growth and development of the state.
Speaking while inaugurating members The Mazi Organization Owerri Zone, his political structure and other support groups at the premises of Government Technical College Owerri, he charged the youths to champion peaceful revolution that will usher in good leaders with a heart of gold for the people.
The Ngor Okpala born business mogul and politician noted that his major interest is the betterment of the electorate and transformational leadership that will stop moving the state with a reverse gear.
Amadi noted that bad leaders who have occupied the leadership position for decades are the real cause of hardship, poor infrastructure, deplorable road condition, hunger and starvation seen in the land today.
According to him; "the problem we are facing today in Imo State did not start today, it started years back, past leaders have failed to do the needful, problems keep on accumulating and multiplying, that is what brought us to where we are today "
Dr Amadi lampooned past leaders who have ruled the state for ruining the state by not matching activity with productivity, saying; we cannot trace the backwardness of the state without apportioning blames to those who ruled Imo State for not doing the right thing at the right time with the right intention for the growth and development of the state. .
He made it clear to Imo youths that the positive change they desire and deserve will not come by folding their hands watching and waiting without any proactive and positive action, saying; it can only come when they get angry over ugly conditions and rise up to put an end to bad leadership.
Dr Amadi who holds the tilte of Okpata Ozu Oha Nile, called for transformational leadership assured his audience that he is the face of positive change, and represents a new way of doing things for the betterment of the masses.
