Former President's Lifestyle Revealed
Femi Adesina, former Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has revealed that Buhari didn't own a private residence in London despite frequent medical trips. Instead, he stayed at the Nigerian High Commission, often for extended periods.
According to Adesina, Buhari relied on wealthy friends, like the Dangotes and Abdusalamis, to cover medical bills and other expenses. Buhari also told Adesina that his friends handled tuition fees for his children attending elite schools abroad.
Adesina described Buhari as "a man of goodwill" surrounded by loyal and generous allies. He made these disclosures in an interview, dismissing speculations about Buhari's property ownership in the UK.
The revelation sheds light on Buhari's lifestyle during his presidency and his relationship with friends and benefactors.
